April 6, 2026 Club Meeting
Charter Day for Rotary Club of Billings was celebrated with a joint meeting of the Rotary Club of Billings and the Billings West Rotary Club. The Rotary Club of Billings was Chartered on April 1, 1916 and the Billings West Rotary Club was chartered on February 17, 1987.

Rotarian Andy Elting introduced the program speaker, Dr. Brock Tessman, President of Montana State University. President Tessman came to Montana State University in July, 2025. He spoke about the importance of MSU's satellite campuses, such as MSU-Billings and the Gallatin College. Montana State University is looking forward with record enrollment this spring of 16,000 students, continued research opportunities, nationally-recognized scholars, and the National Champion Bobcat Football team.
 
 
February 23, 2026 Club Meeting
Paul Harris Society Members Al Koelzer and Allan Karell were recognized for continued commitment to the Rotary Foundation.
 
 
Billings Clinic President Todd Blake and Dr. Erin Rains presented "What's New at Billings Clinic?" Billings Clinic has made great strides in employee engagement and retention to reduce turnover. They are continuing to grow to provide the care our community needs.
 
 
The presenters were introduced by Patrick Klugman (Rotarian) and Nicole Mehling, both of the Billings Clinic Foundation.

A Community Tradition

The Billings Rotary Memorial Parade is built to be a cornerstone of our local culture. We designed this as a family-first event where generations can gather to celebrate our freedom and teach the next generation the value of service. It is a day of pride, patriotism, and community spirit.

Honoring the Fallen

Our primary purpose is to provide a dignified and joyful tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. By filling our streets with flags, music, and ceremony, we ensure their names and legacies are never forgotten.

Fighting the Unseen Battles

While we look back to honor the fallen, we also look forward to protect the living. Many of our veterans return home to face "unseen battles" with PTSD and other mental health challenges.

The Billings Rotary Club uses this event to raise vital funds and awareness for veteran mental health. We operate as a bridge between a grateful community and the resources our veterans need:

Tax-Deductible Contributions: Every dollar donated by our sponsors and neighbors is tax-deductible.

Local Impact: 100% of distributed funds are issued as grants to local organizations that provide direct mental health support and suicide prevention services for veterans.

Whether you are marching in the parade, cheering from the sidewalk, or donating to the cause, you are helping us "Honor the Fallen. Heal the Brave." Together, we can turn a day of remembrance into a lifetime of support.
